Delivering a clean, green, prosperous Bath is a key theme for local Conservatives. Cllr Mark Shelford is often in the local headlines due to his Council cabinet responsibilty for most issues to do with local traffic - an ongoing issue for Bathonians for many decades. But Mark's full title is Cabinet member for Sustainability, Resilience, Highways and Transport.
Issues such as air quality - mostly around to traffic fumes - clean and safe water management, sustainable local energy grids, topics such as local sourcing of food, and the general issue of Council recycling policy, fall within his 'sustainability' remit.
We therefore delighted that he has agreed to give us an "Insight" talk setting out the challenges Bath faces, the work B&NES is doing to address these issues and opportunities, and give us his vision of what a Conservative 'sustainable Bath' could look like in the near future.
Join us to find out more about how our Conservative councillors are working to build an even better Bath!
Date: Wednesday, 14th March 7-15 for 7-30 (formal part of the evening ends 9.00pm).
