Former Government Chief Whip, Mark Harper is MP for the Forest of Dean, which he won from Labour in 2005 with a majority of just over 2,000. By 2010, he had increased his majority to some 11,000 - a figure which changed very little in the General Election earlier this year.
An accountant by training, Mark studied PPE at Brasenose College, Oxford. He has been Minister for Disabled People and also Immigration Minister.
This will be an informal two-course supper, after which Mark will speak and take questions, giving us an insider’s view of this momentous time in Parliament.
Venue: Bath Golf Club, Golf Course Road, Bath, BA2 6JG
