After canvassing in Kingsmead with the Metro Mayor Tim Bowles we went on to the Time Out Cafe in the Guildhall Market for lunch and to talk to retailers around Bath. Universal welcome for the extension of the business rate reduction. Also support for the jobs tax cut. National insurance contributions will be cut by £1,000 for over half a million employers.
