Attended the St. John's Foundation premiere this evening of “A Roof over my Head”, a short documentary, produced by Meaningful Films, and shown at Komedia. The film explores homelessness in B&NES and the charities and agencies that work to support homeless people and rough sleepers, and help them overcome the challenges and issues which led them to where they are. Thank you so much to all the staff and volunteers in those organisations for everything you do: it is of course right to have compassion, and even better to see that compassion being put into practice, to make a real difference, and help people turn their lives around.
