My son is in his second year doing a BTech in hospitality and catering. So proud of him and his journey. When he was 5, and again at 8, I had to fight to get him into school at all. When people talk about problems with Special Educational Needs (SEN), I know what they are talking about. There have always been problems with SEN. I have been living them for nearly 21 years. There is still a lot more to do and we need more politicians who have walked it and lived it. Not just those looking in from the outside. If I become Bath's MP, SEN and wider disability issues will be a major topic I will want to concentrate on
